The plot is simple, Housewife, Daphne Wool, seeks the assistant of Tony Steele to meet and negotiate with a Hitman who was hired to kill her husband. Where it gets interesting is the “hitman” turns out be deaf housewife.
This film is the mastermind of writer/director Frank A. Cappello, who wrote “Constantine” 2005 with Keanu Reeves and Rachel Weisz.
But instead of a big studio budget, Frank went independent and turned to some of his friends who had professional acting experience, Elyse Mirto , Cami Varela , Rob Simone and Marieh Delfino and others who had never acted before.
This, combined with Frank’s uncanny ability to infuse his passion with anyone around him, he made one of the most unique and unforgettable films in a long time.
What makes this film so significant is that it challenges the previous roadblocks that many independent filmmakers face when they have a story to tell. Frank’s mastery of the technical aspects of the camera and his unbridled creativity allowed him to overcome every challenge a filmmaker can face.
Frank was able to reach out to friends and made new ones in the process that in the end made this a product of synergy and the passion of a man who’s imagination could not be stifled by conventional limitations.
